Love for the forest, a story about a couple of polyanimals.

Once there was a young, wild wolf named Kit, who was extremely curious, and loved exploring the dark and beautiful forest.

Kit loved the velvety, dewy moss.  She loved the intricately patterned ferns, the towering magnificent Redwoods made her feel small and humble.  She loved the crunchy Oak leaves and hallowed acorn husks underfoot.  She was awestruck by the silvery spawn spiderwebs glowing in the sunlight amidst the dappled shadows cast by the forest canopy.  And she especially loved meeting and mingling with diverse playmates inhabiting the heart of the forest.  It felt as though she was admiring many faucets on a strange and sparkly jewel, uniquely hewn by nature.

She delighted in making friends with the cutest of creatures; racoons, foxes, crow, deer, even wolves from different packs.  While she was out gallivanting with her furry friends, her partner tended to their baby wolf pups, protecting and feeding the pack during her night forays.

When she returned, exhausted and happy, collapsing into a dusty corner of the den, her pups would pile all over her, and her mate would nuzzle her to welcome her home, before he too left on a mysterious adventure of his own.  And so it went, taking turns, taking care of one another.

This was bliss for them.  Other wolf packs may not understand why this wolf family chose to play tag and branch out to play with others, but this did not matter.  It made them feel alive, and it hurt no one.

If you ever feel out of place, please know that you are not alone.  There are other animals out there, living differently, just as your family chooses to, and there are so many ways to live your life.  I hope you never feel trapped.  I hope you follow your bliss.
